Berlin’s Must-Have – hearty pub cuisine with tradition!

With a wink, we call our typical Berlin pub dishes ‘Berlin’s must-have’. But no wishes remain unfulfilled here: Enjoy tender knuckle of pork or crispy grilled knuckle of pork, served with Bavarian cabbage, potato dumplings and our homemade beer sauce. Or try our baked smoked pork ribs with mustard crust, braised white cabbage and crispy fried potatoes – hearty, flavoursome, irresistible! If you’re starving, we recommend the Charlottenburg castle platter: grilled chicken, beer sausage and baked pork ribs with matching side dishes ensure moments of happiness at the table.

Lemke’s Highlights – Gourmets watch out!

An absolute must for meat lovers: our rump steak from the Brandenburg heifer, served with wedges, coleslaw and mushroom cream. For those who like it more traditional, try our veal Wiener schnitzel with the real ‘Viennese garnish’. Never heard of it? The Viennese garnish is anchovies and capers on a slice of lemon, and this is how the Wiener Schnitzel is served in Vienna. Goulash is a must in a Berlin pub. Legendary here: the Lemke beer goulash. We stew it extra long and refine the sauce with our ‘Lemke Original’. This dark lager complements the goulash perfectly with its roasted flavours – and of course it also goes perfectly with this traditional pub dish when freshly tapped.

You can also be happy without meat

Vegetarian and vegan gourmets will also get their money’s worth! Our baked ravioli with tomato sauce, basil and fresh rocket are a real highlight. Or how about a savoury mushroom pan with linguine and confit cherry tomatoes? Simply delicious and both vegan! For vegetarians who like dairy products and fish, in addition to our salad bowl, we also offer buttered potato noodles with ratatouille made from seasonal vegetables and fillet of Havel pike perch. This noble edible fish has a very mild flavour and virtually no bones and is a real treat for the palate.

For the young ones – enjoyment for the whole family

Of course, we also think of our young guests! Those who don’t want to snack with their parents can choose from three delicious dishes: We serve the children’s classic ‘pasta’ in the form of linguine with a homemade mild tomato sauce. Or something different? You can also choose between crispy chicken schnitzel or fried fish, which we serve with crispy potato dippers (much better than normal chips!) and fresh cucumber salad (for the vitamins 😉 ).

And to top it all off, there’s a delicious Kaiserschmarrn with roasted plums or the fluffy ‘Berliner Luft’ – a vanilla mousse with wild berries and after-eight chocolate. Desserts to fall in love with!
